Guest guest
Darla, C-pap is constant positive air pressure, bi pap has an on and off cycle. (or higher pressure / lower pressure) A lot of the care you get depends on what your doctor's experience is. Sometimes if you are hooked into a " well-patient " practice you will see the cookie cutter, get them their immunizations and ship them out kind of doctoring. The docs see very few really sick kids. While you don't want to go doctor hopping you might want to rethink who sees your really sick kid. My sons go to different primary care doctors. Even with a great doctor you will find yourself fighting the same battles over and over. Sometimes our doctors have been right and whatever care we wanted doesnt help. Sometimes you can get them to do something by presenting it as " just to try it out " . This lets them have an out if they are wrong. Sorry things aren't going well. Twana No help such as c-pap or bi-pap (not sure the difference there-plan to investigate on internet) ...What I really don't understand is why some of the Mito mom's seem to get the medical attention for their kids they need and why others have to fight for it>
