Joey has been exposed to the 5th disease this week end, like we need

something new to deal with. I read up about the 5th disease and it

says it comes with high fever, rash and joint pain. Do Mito kids do

O.K. with this disease? How concerned should I be? Maybe I am

jumping the gun, yet we spent several hours with this child and he

was very crabby while he was at our house and his mom realized he was

running a fever as soon as they got home.

Any input would be great!!! Hope everyone is having a good healthy

weekend!!!!

Tamara, Wyatt had 5ths disease and did fine with it. However, as

you know with Mito each child is going to react differently. The one

thing I did learn about 5ths though is once you see the signs of it,

fever, rash, etc., the child is no longer contagious so maybe your

son will not get it.-
