Guest guest
Hey Joe i also quit cold turkey on a 4 pack a day, took three days, i felt i was hooked on drugs and going through withdraws, but of course it is a drug. We had a snow storm coming and i knew i would never walk to the store with 3 kids so i locked my car in the garage and let it get snowed in. Three days later (worst days of my life) i made it. It has been almost 17 years. To this day i can still remember what my body and mind went through, I told my kids if i ever caught them smoking i would also start and then blame them, they are now 24 and 28 and they to remember what i went through. They never smoked. My daughter who is 17 tried it once of course she didn't know what i went through till her brothers talked to her and she never tried it again. She also does not date anyone who smokes, she figures she has to kiss that guy goodnite, and that is one thing she does not want to smell (haha) So Joe we both know it can be done, but the person has to want to quit, being told to quit, and wanting to quit can be the differance in quitting for good. You are doing so good on your weight loss, i do more reading than posting, always linda
