Guest guest
Jodie, I have had no problem with Coresource. Last year when I first started researching WLS I had Cigna. They would not pay, I even hired Walter Lindstrom and was still denied by Cigna. I worked with my employer to find out which of our plans would cover WLS. She advised me Coresource would cover, so I switched to them during open enrollment for this year. The difference may be that this plan is a company funded plan and is only administered by CoreSource, basically my company has the last word on coverage. I have found it to be so lopsided regarding approvals. Last year I would see people get approved by Cigna all the time and some of us wouldn't and couldn't get them to budge. It all depends on how the policy is written. I hope I do as well as you, WOW 49 lbs in 5 weeks is great. I get switched on 6/12. > , I'm just curious, how on earth did you get Coresource to pay? I fought them for months and finally got my employer to go to bat for me and she fought long and hard. She finally told them that if they didn't cover it, our company was going to drop them! They covered but they aren't happy about it! Did you have to fight?
