i think this is how it goes: the stomach reduction part is what

helps you take off most of the wt. you need to lose. the intestinal

part is what helps keep you from gaining it back after your stomach

has stretched out after a couple of years. so maybe if you are

careful and don't stretch the stomach out really big, you could keep

the wt. off. but doesn't that translate to dieting? and isn't that

why we failed and needed this surgery to help us? so i will still go

for both parts of this surgery. i don't want to lose 200 lbs. just

to gain it back again.
