Guest guest
I had the sleep study.. It's ironic since on one hand I had a perfect nights sleep.. which makes me thankful for sleep but it would be far easier if they captured some troubling sleep issues I have. Anyway.. sometimes I wonder how much things are psychological as perhaps just changing atmosphere and jolting me out of my normal experience birthed a wonderful nights sleep.. Stuff has been weirder after all.. LOL. Jodi
Guest guest
I was having nightmares night after night. Also waking at 2 am or even sooner in great pain and could not sleep nor stay in bed. It was like being in some kind of nasty drugs. Thankfully I'm sleeping much better lately. Guest guest
At least you got a good night’s sleep out of it! LOL. When do you get the results? She's doing something about our sleep issues! " Of course, you had to be an anomaly! Most people report wretched sleep during a sleep study because they're so uptight about all the wires and things and being in a strange place. (I had a wretched time because they used perfumed detergent on the sheets and I spent half the night sneezing.) You, on the other hand, conked right out! Guest guest
When my brother had his sleep study, he said he woke up more refreshed then he can ever remember. Of course, he can fall asleep sitting up in a chair with kids screaming all around him, so there's not much that will keep him from dozing off. Guest guest
Marilyn, You made me chuckle.. I see a mind body practitioner and it is amazing the connection all of this stuff has.. My doc is cool with me though.. she said if need be I'll be sent on another study. Not really sure how that works out with insurance. Just yesterday I had a cat nap and woke up gasping 3 times.. no snoring with me though.. I just feel my breath gets challenging and I gasp as I get scared. I was super relaxed, no nightmare. I can't say I was comfortable during the study, pretty much stayed in the same position due to the wires but my goodness I slept through a whole night.. I didn't go to the bathroom.. I slept 7 hours all the way through! In the questionnaire they asked if I got up at all during the night.. which I did.. not sure why but I went right back to sleep. This is pretty normal for me. Carol- I should be getting the results in a couple of weeks..
