To all list members:

If you have any problems with how this list is run, what is appropriate

for the list or any concerns with particular list members, you MUST email

either....

If you email all three of us at the same time, you are more likely to get

an immediate response. Do not address administrative matters on the public

forum. They are not appropriate topics for this list.

We have a huge amount of members on this list. None of us want to moderate

the list. I WILL NOT moderate this list like the OSSG list. Everyone

should act like an adult and not accept rumors or gossip and start doing

the " he said, she said " crap that is meant for high school.

We absolutely handle situations that flare up in private because frankly,

its a private matter. We do not need a public be-heading on the list.

99% of this list is made up of people who encourage, educate and support

one another. It's the 1% that makes this list a challenge.

If people continue to post emails concerning issues that aren't

appropriate, you will get one warning and then removed from the list. This

includes responses to an email flame, emails concerning alleged censoring

(which is NOT happening), personal dislikes about other members, slander,

attempts to belittle others, etc.

If you don't like something I've written, email me in PRIVATE. If you want

to express your anger, email me in PRIVATE. But please everyone be mature

and let the 99% of the members enjoy this list and keep doing the good

work that they do.

This list is remarkable since it has run for a few years with very minimal

moderation. I would call it almost no moderation. I would rather give up

the reigns on this list then start moderating.

I think the " Silent Majority " is no longer willing to be silent. Thank you

from all of us. I, for one am going to hang in there, won't unsubscribe in

hopes we can get back on a positive track!
