Hi

i had my surgery through south san francisco, if you had your surgery there you are ok to go to the case management meetings. They keep pre-op and post op seperate. If you went through Richmond or Freemont then they usually prefer that you dont go to theirs because the programs are not all the same. I am suppose to go to these meetings but they always end up on the worst saturdays for me............i am going tomorrow though. you weigh in before the meeting and they have your name on a list, i am never on the list because a few weeks before my surgery i changed my pcp to a dr in vacaville and kaiser just automatically assumes now that i go to the ssfk meetings, but it is easier for me to drive to sacramento and less stressfull
