Guest guest
Hello all ~ I know I've been very quiet. I need direction. I was 203 pounds (highest weight ever) at the time of approval. I had all my appointments up to the surgeon which is Dr. Baggs. I currently weigh 194 pounds and was advised not to lose anymore because my BMI's will be too low to go froward with this procedure. However I need to complete a sleep study and have a mamogram and to QUIT smoking (I'm working diligently on). I have both appointments scheduled and I'm going to take a quit smoking class through Kaiser/Richmond, which isn't a real concern, cause I can and will do it! Lately, for several reasons, I've been contemplating about delaying this procedure for at least six months. I will be under the care of a dietitian and nutritionist. My questions is, If I delay the surgery: 1) Will I have to start all over from the begining (approval stage)? 2) Will I have to see the psychologist again for the 3rd time? 3) Should I go forward even with the Case Mgr then delay? If so, I'll be taking a spot that someone else can have. I'm confused and have a lot of thinking and praying to do. __________________________________________"Life is a coin.
