Can the Almond Bread be made in a machine?I doubt it would work. From what I know about bread machines, they first stay just on low heat for yeast to rise. Almond bread doesn't have yeast, so that would be pointless. Then it kneads the bread to make the gluten more able to give the bread flexibility. Almonds don't have gluten, so that would be pointless. Then it bakes the bread, and who knows if the temperature and length of time would work for almond bread. But also: it doesn't take long at all to make almond-flour bread, though it obviously does need adequate baking time. But to mix up the batter takes only a couple of minutes. That being the case, in my view, even if the bread machine did work, it just wouldn't be worth getting it dirty.n_____________________________ Now available. A fine Christmas gift for cat lovers.
