Guest guest
I started the intro diet last Sunday and yesterday started adding some stage 1 foods and finally got my yogurt made so I had a tiny bit in the morning and some last night. My D hasn't cleared up yet but I did notice it was a little different after having the yogurt. This morning when I went to the bathroom (only on this group can you discuss such things!!) I noticed a stringy looking thing. I decided to investigate and pulled it out and it was a 15 inch spaghetti noodle looking thing....is that a parasite?!!@@?? I tested positive in the spring for parasites by a natural doc but he was testing everyone positive so I didn't buy his "stuff". My doc ran a series of tests this summer and didn't find any parasites. I'm not sure what to think! So, if you guys think it is a parasite is there anything I should do differently?? Get on a natural pill? Keep eating yogurt?? Marla SCD 6 days IBS-D Gluten Intolerance
Guest guest
I think the only way to know is to send that stringy thing to a laboratory. You can send a stool sample for ova and parasites. In the beginning I passed some weird looking stuff, still do sometimes. I think for me it's die off as my lab samples were negative. Guest guest
I'm no expert, but I just wanted to say congratulations! I'd love to get rid of something like that - I could blame everything on it! > > > > I started the intro diet last Sunday and yesterday started adding some stage 1 foods and finally got my yogurt made so I had a tiny bit in the morning and some last night.
