Guest guest
Hi Holly Colby has such horrible reactions to choral hydrate they don't give it to him anymore. He has had to be rescitated once and the second time he started to go out and the Dr pushed me out of the room and said, we don't need anyone upset in here. So I sat out in the hallway crying. So now Colby only gets sedated by an anesthesiolosist in the hospital. He has had all the testing and procedures now, except dental work coming up. Just giving my thoughts, I probably should read all before posting! I think I am going to sit in the sun and get some cancerous vitamin D for my Osteoporosis. Good Bye mom to Colby,14,COXIV,LCHAD,ACC,ADHD ,hypothroidism and osteopenia. We noticed what we now believe to be a SLE- she had facial paralysis that was somewhat unusual as it manifested itself from one side of her face to the other over the course of about 6 months before correcting itself. Her left side seemed (and still is) weaker than before (although it was always the weaker side) and she was much more "clingy" for about 4 months afterward. She has not had any procedures requiring sedation since, as we feel that the side affects would be a big issue for her. Depending on what they used, she could just be groggy for a few days- it seems to take forever for things to work themselves out of Maddie's system.
