Clonidine for behaviour issues

Gaby is not on clonidine, but we have been trailling another drug ,for what

is felt to be Obsessive compulsive disorder. She has episodes where she

yells for long periods, for no obvious reason (other than frustration or

boredom)

We have been trialling and combination of 5 Hydroxy-l-tryptophan (5HT) and

quetiapine (or Seroquel)

We have seen some improvement, and are trying to be patient as these drugs

often take some time to 'kick in'

I find it interesting however, to know that more mito kids out there are

dealing with behavioural issues on top of their other medical problems
