Guest guest
Hi Marcia, Your DOCTOR offered to go to your WLS consult with you??!!?? Now if THAT isn't above and beyond the call of duty, I don't know what is. Talk about SUPPORT!! I think I would believe he walks on water too! So that is GREAT news that everything is on track for 6/26. When you have time I would like to hear your insurance story. Is it in the archives somewhere? Has all your pre-op stuff been completed? Your big day will be here in no time - I'm very excited for you! Are you nervous? When the day FINALLY comes for me - and I have faith it WILL come, just not sure when... - I think I will only be a little nervous, mostly just excited and anxious to get ON with things! Well, best wishes for the 26th - keep us informed how everything goes! Guest guest
Terri, I apologize that my syntax was so horrible, but as Anita figured out yesterday, it was my dh who went to the consult with me. The miracle was my dr. convincing my dh that diet and exercise would not work on me...that I needed the DS to survive. If you knew my hardheaded dh you would understand how incredible my dr's accomplishment was. Marty, my dh, is terrified, not particularly looking forward to the procedure, but he'll be there waiting for me to come out on the other side on the 26th. And I think he knows that because of the DS I'll be there WITH HIM in the future. I'll do the insurance story when I get the approval in writing; I'm still a little afraid of jinxing myself. Thanks for all your words of encouragement, Terri; I hope we can stay in touch and I'm sure everything will work out for you as quickly as possible.
