I love Diet Snapple Peach Iced Tea. But oh - the price on those puppies! I

ordered Davinci peach-flavored sugar free syrup from Vitalady (like Torani

flavoring syrups they use at Starbuck's) for $7.15 for a big bottle. Then I

made a big pot of tea with a couple of good old fashioned Lipton teabags,

put some peach-flavored sugar free syrup in there (to taste) and oh my

gosh -- it tastes just like the Snapple! And it's a LOT cheaper. I don't

need to add Splenda or Equal, because the syrup makes the tea sweet.

By the way, if you're NOT doing caffeine(and I must say, good for you!) you

can substitute decaffeinated tea and come up with the same thing. As far as

I know, Snapple doesn't offer decaffeinated, sugar-free peach iced tea -- so

we're a step up on them!

Lest I run the risk of sounding like Heloise, and writing my own " tips "
