If anyone needs some extra encouragement to help them focus on their diet go

rent the film Food Inc. It is a documentary about the food suppliers in the

united states and at times is quite shocking. There are actually a few times in

the film where it alludes to similar science behind the SCD diet. It is not a

pro vegitarian or a liberal/conservative film. It just tries to show us where

our food comes from. It is currently in the new release section at blockbuster.

Hi ,

My husband and I really enjoyed Food, Inc. Great film! Also, last night we

just watched Fat Head, which was funny and fabulous. I found a recommendation

for it on my WAPF local chapter’s Yahoo list.

http://fathead-movie.com/

It’s a comedy/documentary that starts

off as a spoof of Supersize Me, but then gets into talking about the epidemic

of heart disease health problems as they relate to sugar and starches, not saturated

fats. It gets into how the whole cholesterol link to heart disease thing is

bunk, why it happened, and how all these toxic vegetable fats came about. They

have an interview from Sally Fallon of the Weston Price Foundation.

Granted, the filmmaker ate a lot of junk during the film that I would never go

near!! It’s definitely not SCD fare. But he’s very funny and

makes excellent points. We really liked it.
