Hi Cecilia,

Glad to see you are doing fairly well. I took the pain medication for about a week, I am a big baby when it comes to pain. I really didn't try to let the pain get too bad because it puts stress on the body and slows down the healing. I know there are so many that have said that they only used the pain medication for a day or two but as it is always said each person reacts differently to the pain from the surgery. I never slept on a recliner I just had my bed and that is what I used. Since I am a veteran when it comes to surgeries I was shown a long time ago how to get out of bed when you have had surgery. As for the dreaming of the food, I went through that too for a while. It did eventually go away.
