Guest guest
Thanks for the info about the tuna. Yea! I just found out that my food co-op, www.unfi.com, carries Friendship Farmer's Cheese (DCCC). I paid, with shipping, about $7/lb. when I ordered it from the actual dairy. At the co-op, it's $4.67/lb. If you really like this cheese, and use it a lot, maybe you might want to consider joining a co-op. The Natural Sea tuna is there too. Sometimes, with sales and coupons, a regular store can be better, just depends. I think that's one of the reasons people don't eat like this. It can be expensive. Maybe if we aren't buying the carb junk food, it might even out. But, my husband is feeling so much better, there is no turning back! Guest guest
Glad to see he's feeling better. SCD was an investment in the beginning when I had to buy yogurt makers and other things I could not get locally. Now that my kitchen is SCD ready, I can make use of specials at the grocery store and so on. Food is costly, but so is feeling bad. SCD is worth it. PJ > > Thanks for the info about the tuna. > Yea! Guest guest
I haven't found SCD to be any more expensive then the way I used to eat. Cutting out junk like Boost, chips, pop, and ice cream saves more money then you think :-). Plus, I don't eat out anymore, so that definitely saves some dough. I'm not a big eater though, so that may make a difference as well. Holly Crohn's SCD 12/01/08 > > Thanks for the info about the tuna. > Yea!
