Guest guest
Connie Make sure you go to SarcoidosisSharma.com and print out his article. This will help both the pulm and neuro see the other options to try for you. Methotrexate will take about 2-3 months for you to see real improvement, but I'd sure hate it if I had to quit taking it now. Hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil) is good for the lungs-- it seems to work faster, and so may be the one to start with, and then add the MTX. You don't want to start 2 different meds at one time, because then you'd not be able to tell what you're having a reaction too if in case you did have a reaction. (Sorry, I'm practicing to be Rose- rambling that is.) You really need to see how those do, before you go into the BRM's. (Enbrel, Humira, Remicade.) Anyway, I hope this makes sense tonight.
