Guest guest
Hello there everyone. Happy long weekend to all! I was wondering if anyone knows if one of the surgeons in California takes Cigna HMO. As far as I can tell, there are only three main surgeons: Rabkin, Anthone, and Keshishian. I wanted Dr. K because he's very good and he's not too far from home. However, he is not a provider for Cigna. Has anyone had experience with being a Cigna HMO client and finding a surgeon in California (or, I suppose, anywhere nearby)? It sounds like I am approved for surgery (tentative YIPPEE!), but they can't " find " me a doctor. Of course, I will at this moment take the high road and not be insulting about my ____ (fill in the blank) insurance. Thanks so much for any and all help. It's greatly appreciated! Is that Cigna Healthcare of Southern California? If so, Dr. Anthone, at the University of Southern California University Hospital is listed as a provider on Cigna's provider search engine, (on Cigna's website). http://provider.healthcare.cigna.com/doc- hosp.asp> Anthone, , MD Group Practice: University Affiliates Ipa PCP Specialty: No Specialties Non-PCP Specialty: Surgery - General 1510 San Pablo St Ste 514 Los Angeles, CA 90033 Dr. Anthone is FANTASTIC! But don't just take my word for it. Instead, join us on his Yahoo support group. Here is the address: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ds_usc> Good luck! Burbank airport is about 15-25 minutes away, (depending on traffic), from the University of Southern California University Hospital, where Dr. Anthone practices. Depending on where you are coming from, you might get a really cheap flight on SouthWest. If you are interested in learning more about Dr. Anthone, join us at his support group, which is here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ds_usc> Hope this helps, Tom Panniculectomy, Dr. Anthone, 11/10/2000 Open DS, Dr. Anthone, 03/30/2001 11/10/2000....384 03/30/2001....360 04/19/2001....338 04/22/2001....334.5 05/03/2001....328 05/14/2001....319 05/18/2001....316 68 Ugly Pounds, GONE FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
