Guest guest
yes its different in children...because it measures an enzyme that is put out by bone growth so children's will naturally be higher. most of the labs we have put the high end of the normal b/t 300-400. Our Gaige has really high near 600 but everyone keeps assuring me that its all fine! I sometimes wonder why we have norms when they dont' worry when things are not 'normal'. deb...mom to three great adopted kids... Guest guest
> sarah, I am not sure what the normal one is-but they say it is higher and still normal in children becuase of growth spurts. I'll try to look tomorrow and see if I can find it for you. I don't think that is too high though. Dawn
