My surgery is scheduled for Wednesday morning, May 30th at Mt. Sinai in NYC.

Dr. Pomp is the surgeon. I will be leaving for NYC on Tuesday morning.

Terri Hassiak will be my " angel " . (FYI: my married name and the name under

which I will be admitted is n Sforza)

Hope everyone will pray really hard. I'm feeling pretty calm at this point.

Any apprehensions are related to the fact that I'm not a young chick (58)

and my BMI is too high (69) to do the surgery lap. I also have not been an

inpatient since I was 3 years old!!!!! I am not an old pro on this, which

come to think of it might be a good thing!!!

Please say your prayers, swing those chickens or whatever.

n,

We will be swinging chickens, lighting candles (that's fun anyway!) and saying

prayers for a speedy and uneventful surgery and recovery!!

Good luck!!

The candles are lit and the chickens are swinging. We'll keep our fingers

and all other appendages crossed until you back on the other side. Best of

luck to you, n!!

I'm swinging away and praying real hard n. You may not be a young

chick, but thanks to this surgery you should have many good quality years

to look forward to! Congratulations! Look forward to hearing all the

good results.
