Guest guest
I live about ten miles north of Searcy. I have only worked three days a week in an office for several years but in the past year since being diagnosed I am only working two because of being so tired. I also homeschool my daughter. Last year when I was diagnosed with sarcoid in my lungs it took from May until about July to get diagnosed and I guess I lucked out because a skin doctor diagnosed the lesions on my elbow as sarcoid then I had to go through more tests and see a lung specialist in Little Rock in September. He put me on Plaquenil for a six month treatment and when I came off it I began hurting so bad that four different kinds of pain pills wouldn't touch the pain. That was this May and it took until August for a spinal tap to show I had neurosarcod. --- mosaicgirl1 mosaicgirl1@...> wrote: > > Cornflower Blue, > > What part of Arkansas do you live in? is from > Bebe and I > graduated from Warren High in Warren. Guest guest
Barb N., I hope you don't mind if I called you Cornflower Blue, but I couldn't see what your last name was. So now I will call you Barb J. I will check my personal email and see what her screen name; we talk through private email. When my sister remarried 3 years ago, she got married in Monticello. She married her high school school sweetheart who was from Wilmar. His sister is a child psychologist in Little Rock. I would love to come back to visit. I have a neice and Uncle in the Northeast part of the State (the name slips my mind right now). Well, Ihave bills to do so I am gonna run. Take Care. Guest guest
Cornflowerblue: I lived in until I was 22 (I'm 49 now). I took plaquenil for about 6 weeks 1 1/2 yrs ago but had to stop b/c heart began acting up(spent a few days in the hospital)...could have been b/c they were trying to decrease my prednisone and that was the cause but nevertheless I cringe when I hear Plaquenil. Where is your pain? I am new to this group but have already found extensive info here on posted websites that have helped me to understand better. Take care, Becky > > > > > > > > Ok gang, > > > > > > > > It's time for roll-call. the list has been quiet > > lately, and we're > > wondering > > > > what's up with everyone. Guest guest
Hi Becky, I am also new to this group and have fell in love with it due to so much info and the people are so willing to share their info. My pain is all in my chest area, front and back and right below my rib cage area. My back area feels like it is on fire most of the time. I lived with the pain constantly from May of this year until I finally got some relief a couple of weeks ago but it is still there at times. I also had some numbness under my left breast area which developed into hurting everytime I cough or breathed heavy. My x-ray shows three big spots in that area. Please tell me about yourself. Guest guest
Hi Cornflowerblue Barb,Today will be a tough one b/c am getting ready to go to the oral surgeon to have two teeth removed. I probably will be out of commission for a couple of days since these are going to be difficult to remove. I must do this though b/c can't start the cellcept (anti-rejection med) until all dental work complete since any infection could be disasterous. When I can I will write back. My pain is mostly in my arms/wrists/fingers but has also been in my left shoulderblade and feet. My left leg also jumps and is painful at times. My dr prescribes pain meds for me so that helps. I have lung nodules (bilateral bases), cardiac involvement, hx skin, eye, neuro, shortness of breath, and the list goes on. I take three different insulins b/c of the steroids. I am grateful for each day that I wake up and see the world even if it is from a very limited view (my couch or bed) via TV or reading. My family is very supportive and I know this is hard on them.
