Guest guest
Thanks, Quint. I'll give him a call. Should I say The Godfather referred me? I've been in The Scooter Store in Indianapolis; don't know if it's the same company. The guy there said that my doctor needed to fill out a form for Medicare to cover it. My neurologist said that Medicare would only cover if I needed a scooter to get around my home, which I don't. I know that he is not going to falsify the forms, because Medicare fraud is a biggie. It seems like Medicare would cover it as a necessity to get to medical appointments. Now that I'm being seen at Indiana Univ., it's really painful & difficult to get from the garage to the clinic. I even checked out having someone drop me off at the entrance, but it's almost as far! A lot of good handicapped parking does, when you have to trudge so far to the offices. Well, maybe your guy knows some other angles. Thanks for the tip, Big Dog. Guest guest
Well Rose, just so you know... if the scooter store doesn't work out I have a Rascal scooter, that I don't use any more, still paying 50.00 a month on it and its sitting in my back bedroom... its got new batteries this year, just a thought, I'd be willing to sell it for around 1000.00 or just make me an offer, I'd really like to get rid of the monthly payment.. Guest guest
, is it a portable, with lightweight parts? Last spring when I rented "Old Blue" to take my grandkids to a state part for Spring Break, the heaviest piece was 100#, which was really hard for & Sam to get in & out of the trunk, and they are strong girls! I need something much lighter.
