Is dumping related to diabetic tendency?

I was wondering, has anyone done a study about who tends to " dump " on

high sugar or high fat foods? Is there any correlation between those

of us who were diabetic (type 2), are we more prone to diabetic like

reactions to too much sugars in our foods? Or is this a random thing

that happens to various WLS people?

--Sandi H. (5 ft 1 inch tall and 50 years old)

I live in Citrus Heights (Sacramento County)

Dr. Leo – San Diego (Thru Kaiser)

315 at orientation (May '03)

285 at 3 pre-op appointments in San Diego (August 4, 2003)

252 at surgery (6/03/04)

Last weighed at 174.5 (08/27/2005)

Hopefully someday below 140

Formerly high blood pressure, on maximum diabetic meds & insulin, now

free of these medicines!

That is a good question! Since I am post diabetic(?) I find this a

really interesting theory.

Hope someone knows the answer!

Sandi,

I dump fairly easily, and I was not even close to being diabetic

prior to surgery.
