Guest guest
I have been trying to pretend and live as a health person. I really have been going out more to dinner and concerts with friends...haven't done that in a long time. My last Remicade went great...no fatique this time but a week later I now have bronchitis, a sinus infection and fluid in my ears!!! I Ruth, I'm so glad you've decided to pretend to be healthy. Just listen closely to your body, and when it says to stop for a day or two- then stop. I've found that pacing myself is the only way I can do anything special. One of the best things I use is SINUS RINSE. It's ph balanced and great to wash out the gunk in your sinuses. I have to use mine nightly (8oz up each nostril) and I can breath even with the cpap on. Also, the Rheumi who is also an allergist (his first love) also has me using OCEAN nasal saline throughout the day--- and my allergies are under better control now than they've ever been. (I've even had sinus surgery and this works better than the windows ever did). If you are on a cpap, be careful with having an ear infection and still using it. That one seems to make major problems. If you can survive a night or two without it-- (I can't) it would be good to hang back for a couple of days. Take care, and enjoy the thing==truck. LOL! Guest guest
Thanks Tracie for checking up on us. I have been trying to pretend and live as a health person. I really have been going out more to dinner and concerts with friends...haven't done that in a long time. My last Remicade went great...no fatique this time but a week later I now have bronchitis, a sinus infection and fluid in my ears!!! I saw a PA in my doctors office that used to work in an ENT office so he had to tell me all about the damage I have in my ears and about the hearing loss I will be having if not already. Sarc striks again probably But he gave me lots of drugs to add to my list and hopefully will be well soon. Told me I probably miss a lot of conversations I don't even know about! Suggested I see a ENT and get my hearing checked. Great another specialist! I know I am blessed to have doctor/Pa's that are finially treating me well. And At 8 weeks the iritis had returned also when I saw my eye doctor last week. However not bad enough to cancel the cataract surgery scheduled for next Monday! Hurrah I will be able to see again. Can't wait. Not being able to drive and living alone with not one to drive for you is the pits This weekend I am going with my youngest daughter & family to Nashville to see the Tank so I'd better go stock up on my sleep. I hope you are all doing well....nite and God Bless Ruth
Guest guest
Ruth, Glad to hear your getting out some, that is always good. I am very sorry healthwise things are not so good, but hopefully they will be much better soon. Sounds like your doctors are trying really hard to stay on top of things. I will be praying that the cataract surgery goes exceptionally well. I can not imagine how hard it would be to live alone and not be able to drive....grief. Who is the tank?? Hugs for sure.......Connieolehomepla wrote: Thanks Tracie for checking up on us. I have been trying to pretend and live as a health person. Guest guest
Tracie, Thanks ..I am trying to be careful and take a down day when I feel I need to. I worry about all this " good " feelings being taken away from me. I have these lists in my head of things I want to do and I am trying to work on that list as much as I can. I just made a date (wow a date!) to drive up to Brown County and see the bridges...something I have wanted to do for several years. Several months ago I was involved in an auto accident with my big ole truck and walked away with only a broken finger nail. It could have been a whole lot worse. When I looked at the truck later I resolved that I'd do better and tell every I love ...that I love them. I thought I would die from breast cancer 25 years ago...now this illness...I didnt think I could have died suddenly in a auto accident. My house has been transfered, my daught is on my accounts my funeral is planned... NOW I AM READY to go have some fun while it last!!! So love to you all....and prayers too Ruth > > In a message dated 9/4/2006 8:03:02 PM Pacific Daylight Time, > olehomepla@... writes: > > > I have been trying to pretend and live as a health person.
