I have off and on this virbration on my skin that lasts for more or less different lengths of time. Lately, this has been going on the left side of my scalp. Is there those sensory nerves there on a person's head like elsewhere on the skin? I know I'am having my sensory nerves being affected and God only knows what is going on internally.

, yes we have all kinds of nerve endings on our scalp. I suspect that it's some kind of "small nerve fiber neuropathy" and although annoying, is not life threatening. You should, however, tell the doc about it-- and between this and all the neuropathy and numbness, tingling, burning in your feet and legs-- they can do nerve tests that would prove that yes, you have neuropathy. This could be helpful with your SSDI.

You don't have to wait until you get a denial from SSDI to get a SSDI attorney involved. In fact, the attorney can help you with the paperwork to file, doing all the filing, etc for you. Who knows, maybe it'll go thru the first time out.

Do get started-- as I've explained multiple times- your "back pay" will start from when you turn in the initial request for SSDI-- so the longer you put it off- the longer you will continue to be without income.

As has been suggested before, check with the minister or preacher of the church near your home, and maybe that church has an outreach program where members of the church can take you to your appointments.

Remember, if you don't ask for help-- you won't get any help.

Take care,

Tracie, I had that EMG electrical nerve test done twice and that Nerve Conduction Study test done once. One of each of these this past December, 2005. I think it was this EMG test that showed some Sensory Nerve loss, but not disabling at that time. Where is the most pain that I've had going on the last 2 years? It's been in both of my legs. This is why I requested an MRI don on both of my legs to the rheumologist and later to my primary care doctor this past spring. Like I said before, both denied my request to have this done. After Kathy & I went to the V.A. clinic today, we went to the Social Security Office to apply for S.S.D.I. but there was so many people there already about 12:30/1:00 p.m. that we have to do this another day. See we can't be tied up there long because these paperoutes have to be done by 5:00 p.m. Separate trip down to Social Security Office either by myself or together earlier in the day is a better

option. tiodaat@... wrote: In a message dated 9/6/06 5:07:21 AM Pacific Daylight Time, garyjwoolard (AT) yahoo (DOT) com writes: I have off and on this virbration on my skin that
