What we have here is Legal Aid, which is similar to what you mention

and is " pro-bono "

Unfortunately, with my wife working, we're over the top on income so

we don't qualify for legal aid. With debts and the cost of medications

that are over and above what my wife's group insurance coverage will

pay for $150 an hour is not something we can afford; because of debt

becoming increasingly deeper, I don't want to add even more to the

problem.

The lawyers that would usually take a case like mine at a " service now

with fees being paid after a successful outcome " seem to only take

those that are at a lower point in the appeal process. Apparently,

that type of lawyer will not take my case because it is not " cost

effective " for them.

I will look into the law student idea. It's not something that I would

have though about. Thanks for the suggestion.
