I just found a bottle of sparkling apple cider in the pantry that I forgot

about. Here is what is on the label:

's Gold Medal Sparkling Cider

100% Juice from fresh apples

contains no alcohol

ingredients:Pasteurized 100% pure carbonated apple juice from US grown fresh

apples, vitamin c

no water, or alcohol, no concentrates, no sweeteners or preservatives.

What do you all think? Is this legal? (if not I have plenty of guests to drink

it)

Nope, not legal. That one comes up from time to time, and apparently,

there's something added that isn't on the darned label.

Thanks. I'm still stumped by the 100% part. Now even the math can be tweaked :)

Wait, is this " 's " or " elli's " ? I read on another website (that

I'll be madly trying to find before tomorrow) that elli's is legal. Is

there any brand of sparkling cider that's legal? I don't want to lose another

tradition. :(

Here it is. According to nomorecrohns.com, elli's is legal according to

Elaine Gottshall.
