Guest guest
I have chronic bloating as part of having slow upper GI motility due to my upper GI dysfunctions, but when my bloating increases dramatically, then I know I've eaten something my digestion isn't able to break down as easily as other things. So I do consider it, when I figure out what "it" is, a food I don't eat very often or maybe don't eat again. In my case, "it" generally turns out to be something high-carb, usually winter squash or a legume or a "new" combination of ingredients in my latest batch of nut flour muffins. Kim M. If bloating is a consequence of pathogenic bacteria fermenting carbs in your gut, presumably you should avoid anything that causes it? ( I think I might have answered my own question!) Thanks!
