Guest guest
I've had many of them. It's not a problem, and it may give them info on where to go to get a biopsy. I wouldn't worry about the radiation-- it is minimal. It is painless, and when the inject the gallium--you get a hot flash in your lymphs, but it goes away quickly. Just mostly a bizzare feeling. I hope they do a full body scan for you-- especially head and chest-- so that if you have sarcoidosis in your lungs or liver, those places can be easily biopsied. Guest guest
Has anyone had a gallium scan to check for sarcoidosis? I am having one the week after next and wondered if it was worth the effort and radiation exposure. Thanks.
