I don't want to go into New York City because I hate New York City (can you tell I grew up there and stayed for 26 years?). If I have to go there for medical care I suppose I will, but there will be wild horses dragging me through the Lincoln Tunnel when I go. Hey -- You'd have to have wild horses dragging me to get me to see an RNY surgeon! Good luck with your hunt! Nan E.

Guest guest
As far as I know, there are no Jersey Drs. who do the DS. The only ones in the area are Gagner, Pomp, Inabet (maybe one other?) at Mt. Sinai, Ren at NYU (check out thinforlife@... for other NYU surgeons) and Marcura (sp?) in Staten Island. All WLS Drs. in Jersey only do RNY. The hospital? Thanks. ----------------------------------------------------------------------
Guest guest
I have received a request to add a NJ doc to the DS website's surgeon listings. I wrote back to ask them to confirm that he does indeed offer the DS before I put the listing up. (Yes, I have actually gotten requests to add docs who weren't DS docs before, so now I always confirm before adding listings to the site.) In the meantime, if you want to call on your own to inquire, here is the contact info I received: Dr. Frederick J. Nahas, MD, PA 631 Shore Road Somers Point, NJ 08244 fax Let me know what you find out! Guest guest
hI-I did alot of research in N>J> because I didn't want to go to Ny. but there was nobody who did the Ds and That was my choice. I was lucky to find Dr. Herron at Mt. Sinai and it was the best thing I did for myself. Good luck on your search. Ellen(Pam
