Guest guest
I saw my doctor last week and he told me he has been seeing an increase in Sarcoidosis over the past few months, strange? I asked if he knew why and he said he didn't have a clue. when I first went to him, he has only seen one other person with it and they didn't have any problems so he learned a lot about it from and on me. Doesn't make me feel good to think more are getting this, buy then again maybe with more, there will be more research and more treatment options? Guest guest
Marla, One of the things coming up with the World trade Center stuff-- many of the men and women that worked on the recovery groups-- are now being plagued with major lung diseases. This includes alot of sarcoidosis. The other group of sarcoidians seems to be Gulf War Vets. Sarcoidosis is actually the #1 cause of pulmonary fibrosis. I don't remember the percentage but it was huge-- of people diagnosed with advanced pulmonary fibrosis- almost all that have been autopsied had sarcoidosis *80% or more. Interesting tidbit isn't it. Guest guest
Yes that is very interesting. Tracie, Joe said somehow someone took over his admistration rights on the chat room, therefore he will not be able to get it going or do any updates, he said you just need to give them back, if you know who has them. I have no understanding of any of this, do you. He said if know one knows that they did this and how to give them back he would have to redo the chat room, and we all would have to change our passwords. If you have any questions on how all this works just email Joe, at engineerisaac@... as I don't know any thing about it, and Ron and I were in the chat room last night for awhile, I hope I didn't do it? Thanks Tracie. Guest guest
I wonder sometimes Marla, if it isn't a case of they now know what they are looking at; whereas before they didn't have a clue. So, they only thought there were a whole lot less of us///ConnieMarla Bramer wrote: I saw my doctor last week and he told me he has been seeing an increase in Sarcoidosis over the past few months, strange?
