Guest guest
Greetings to all, It is nice to know I was missed recently. I spent almost three weeks in New York with lies at service dog " boot camp " , was home only three days are our family headed to Florida for a long awaited vacation and we leave again Sunday for Mayo Clinic. In between I've been 1) very busy at work and 2) trying to manage my own medical issues with a mix of lupus flare and a workup for a brain/skull lesion which the local docs still can't identify (benign vs malignant). The fun just doesn't end!!! The good news is that lies completed boot camp and now has her faithful companion Stitches. He is superbly trained and is serving her well. Additionally, our Disney vacation could not have been nicer. We had a relaxing, fun time as a family and we had several delightful dinners with friends which made the trip more special. While we were away my son and his friends painted and refloored our kitchen. It was in great need of repair and looks terrific. Hoping Dr. Whiteman has some encouraging words and recommendations that might improve the girls current level of function. We'll know in a week.
