Guest guest
I had my second cataract surgery on Monday. It was quite an experience, completely different from my one a few weeks ago. Dr says I am only one of five of his patients who was still able to see while he was doing surgery. Sounds freky but it was really neat. I think he didn't believe me so he waved his hands above my head and I told him he as waving. I have the most amazing Eye Doctor and staff. Bandages were off today (boy does he like tape!) and I am seeing 20/60 in the right that was just done and 20/20 out of the left that was done 6 weeks ago. Everything is so bright now! Can't see up close at all but can see the computer screen ok. My eyes are still being dilated (the reversing drops take forever to work for me) so while I can't drive to the eye doctor I can see well enough to drive other places for the first time in a while. No more asking for rides. What a relief! I am so behind in reading post ...hope all of you are doing well TTFN Ruth
