That is my goal-- I love dancing -- but right now pre-op I am limited to the stroll -- stroll into the bedroom, stroll back to the living room, stroll to the car, stroll to the office. I have always wanted to learn belly dancing, but after my panni, there will be no navel -- you suppose I can fake it just gluing on an enormous ruby? Guest guest
i know how you feel! walking in the same area is too boring. so try driving to new, varied, picturesque locations to walk, and think of it as sight-seeing! also, get several more exercise tapes so you can vary what you are looking at on the tv. also i hear spinning is fun. i had a friend that signed up for that at a gym. the instructor keeps it interesting and varied considering you are on a stationary bike. then there is swimming laps, or water aerobics. or try taking tap dancing lessons! i'm gonna do that after i lose a good amount of my wt. ihave always wanted to learn to tap. then there is also line dancing, or square dancing. keeps you moving! anyway, you asked, so i blathered on! lol hope this helps mary y st. louis itchin to be switchin > I am about 6.5 weeks out and am tired of walking all the time. Guest guest
Nan, Thanks. My dh has a great sense of humor. It's kept me from falling prey to depression due to the stresses and pressures of life, throughout the years. Maybe I'll post other cartoons he's doing for me, chronicling adventures through the DS journey. Anyway, thanks again for sharing your story with us, it brightened my day. Sincerely, Angel --- leafyleaves@... wrote: > > > In a message dated 5/28/01 10:18:01 PM Pacific > Daylight Time, > > angelquilt1@y... writes: > > > > > > > Nan, > > > > > My husband is a cartoonist on the side and > when I > > > > > read > > > > > your post it made me giggle.
