Guest guest
Tracie, Or is it (sp). My mind is shot tonight. I had a question I thought you might be able to answer but if any one else has experience with this problem I would appreciate it. I have had cranial nerve problems as many of you do, but something weird is going on. My cranial nerve problems have always been on the left but now I have numbness going from left to right across my forehead and my nose. At first I only noticed it when I was having the facial pain and palsy but now it is pretty much constant. It isn't completely numb but it is quite disconcerting. Has anyone had this problem or any ideas? My PCP is still pretty much putting me off. I will be seeing the Rheumy tomorrow and am going to see what he says. Well, let me know what you guys think. Thanks. Terri G.
Guest guest
Terri, Tracie, etc..., I also get numbness in the nose and chin area. It's the oddest feeling and it makes me want to rub on them and there's nothing there. It comes and goes. It's usually worse when I'm in a flare. I also have parotid gland pain...mostly on the right side. This could also be neuro stuff and pcp's generally steer clear of that stuff. hugs S.mosaicgirl1 wrote: Tracie, Or is it (sp). Guest guest
, I too have parotid pain. Mostly on the left. It also swells sometimes when my face is really bothering me. When I had shingles on that side of my face (combined with bell's) my parotid was like a goose egg. If I had known then what I know now, I would have taken photos for the idiot docs to see that it wasn't just a case of shingles. Something else was going on at the same time; hindsight is 20/20 you know. Thanks for the info. Terri G. Tracie, > Or is it (sp). My mind is shot tonight.
