WOW!!!!! HOLY TAMOLY!

I feel I must owe the group an apology... I DID NOT MEAN to start

bickering amongst the group.

I guess at the time, all I was really thinking was that I was voicing

my opinions, and MY emotions outloud. And after doing so, (along

with all the KIND replies, and support I have received, along with e-

mails), I have made my decision to stay with the DS!! And I really

want Dr. Rabkin/Jossart to perform the surgery. This is MY own

PERSONAL prefernce. Not that I'm afraid of the scar.. that doesn't

bother me, only my husband will see it anyways! Just that I

believe it is less traumatic, just from seeing what MY patients go

through with any open surgery VS lap surgery. Plus my one experience

with surgery as well.

I do apologize for any arguments I have started, and I guess am a

little disappointed too. I mean, I figured we'd all be here

supporting one another, after all... we do all have one thing in

common. We're all fighting, or have fought this horrible monster..

OBESITY!! I guess I just didn't realize that we would be fighting

each other as well. For starting that, I do apologize. I hope this

group can accept it.

Anyways... so insurance is faxed in to doc.. and ONE WAY OR ANOTHER..

I'm going to have DS!!! (Just hoping it's THIS way.. hehe)

Best of luck to those pre-op, and wishing continued success to those

post op!

Hey ! You didn't cause anything -- chill. Some list members just like to argue -- we got a couple of legal beagles, and then there are some folks who just can't stay out of a dust up. Keep an eye on the names and e-mail addys and you will soon learn who does what, who you are simpatico with, and whose posts to delete unread. (plus, and I am really risking getting a stink bomb in my e-mail here-- there is still a little residual steam up from our last flame war, and some folks are letting the fumes of us vs. them stuff linger on) This will pass -- there is no group of humans on the face of the planet that doesn't go thru these kinds of disputes. Put humans together for any purpose, and sooner or later you get a tempest in a teapot over something! So coat yourself in a little psychic Vaseline and let this stuff roll off. Nan E. (who has managed to put her foot in the middle of it twice now, and is still alive, a little roasted around the edges, but still here).
