I am glad I can help you some. Besides Asenath (4) who has Mito as well as CNS brain Vasculitis, both of which cause strokes (for some reason the type of Mito my kids have is a type with lots of strokes). She is approximately 2-2 1/2 years developmentally and is dealing with many issues. My youngest Zipporrah who is 8 months on Monday also is assumed to have Mito and has had two strokes already; one at two months and one at four months. Both affected opposite sides so she has damage in many areas. Most of her difficulty is feeding related and sensory issues, although she still is dealing with issues in the extremities as well. Then recently we have been dealing with my oldest who had a stroke episode in January and seems to be having more issues appearing as he grows older. I have 7 biological children and several of the other kids have soft signs of Mito but nothing confirmed as of yet. Then we adopted two children who have some special needs due to their parents' choices. It sounds like you have had some tough years and I am sure you could really use a break right now. I hate hospital stays and they are so tiring. Please try to take care of yourself. Maybe you should sleep now while your child is sleeping. Take care. Darla Re: Mayby seisure? Darla you are an angel you have such a neat family, i know they all have special needs but you are wonderful. Thank you so much for your time and i would love to consider you a friend .
