I'm planning to say, " Why, I stopped dieting! Everybody knows that doesn't

work! " And it'll be TRUE! :D :D :D

I, too, have elected NOT to tell my family ANYTHING about my surgery.

It's a relief to find out that there are others out there! My entire

family is MO and diabetic. I've already got the MO part down pat, and am

hoping to avoid the diabetes. My family has rarely, if ever, approved of

anything I've done, mainly because I never married. I'm an RN, have a

law degree and have my own little business, but still everything comes

down to " why don't you have a husband like your sister? "

I'm looking forward to their faces when I see them after losing WT and

just say " I lost it the old fashioned way--diet and exercise! " This is

the truth, as we all know--post surgery, diet and exercise are what

send the WT moving downward!

If anyone wants to see the New York " Best Doctors " issue--I'm in NYC, I

have a copy of the magazine and a fax machine. Let me know your fax

numbers and I can fax the page with Dr. Gagner on it to you.

part about the family all being MO. my family is all naturally thin

and eat whatever they want. i am the blacksheep, especially because

i am not married.

anyway, i have a consultation scheduled with dr. pomp in august, and

would love to hear from you about what to expect and how to prepare

for it.

please feel free to email me privately.

thank you so much - and good luck!
