Guest guest
, Sondra, et al: I, too, have elected NOT to tell my family ANYTHING about my surgery. It's a relief to find out that there are others out there! My entire family is MO and diabetic. I've already got the MO part down pat, and am hoping to avoid the diabetes. My family has rarely, if ever, approved of anything I've done, mainly because I never married. I'm an RN, have a law degree and have my own little business, but still everything comes down to " why don't you have a husband like your sister? " I'm looking forward to their faces when I see them after losing WT and just say " I lost it the old fashioned way--diet and exercise! " This is the truth, as we all know--post surgery, diet and exercise are what send the WT moving downward! If anyone wants to see the New York " Best Doctors " issue--I'm in NYC, I have a copy of the magazine and a fax machine. Let me know your fax numbers and I can fax the page with Dr. Gagner on it to you. Ashford Pre-op with Dr. Pomp at Mt. Sinai NYC for 9/2001 >EVERYTHING that I go thru becomes ALL about HER. And PLEASE, >don't anyone tell me she just loves me... Man, I " m sitting here trying to figure out how my mother gave birth to you and Sondra and I never knew about it! I've got two more sisters!
