Guest guest
I haven't checked in for a while, but wanted to share that Ash (age almost 17 years) is finally having her Tendon Transfer with Dr. Mosca today. We have waited a long timne for this and finally this young lady will be able to walk at her own HS graduation in 2 years. We've beeen fighting the system for all these years with docs that would tell us we need more therapy or a different orthotic, on and on anything except fixing it. Finally we got Dr. Mosca who is like the top guy in the world, and he took one look and said he can fix that. The anesthesiologist is well aquainted with our Dr. Saneto so I'm not worried about her MITO for pretty much the first time in all her surgeries, they know about no propafol or nitrous or Ringer's. I'm in the " Parent Resource Center " and have a half hour linmit but wanted to check in and share GOOD news for a change (I know we all get little enough of that). Think good thoughts for us. She'll be out of surgery in about 2 hours and then a non-weight bearing cast for 6 weeks and then we get to see how well it worked! This Keyboard is AWFUL!! Gotta run. Kathleen Mom of De-Arbra age 16+ Complex 3 Hope is hearing the music of the future. Faith is dancing to it now!
