Hi everyone,

n just came out of surgery and all went well; she is in recovery

now (7:45pm EDT). Apparently they did not actually get started until

4:30pm! An emergency came in and she got bumped. The doctor told

her husband it took them 90 minutes to anesthetize her. n's

sister, , did not know the details on this, though.

Dr Pomp also commented that it was good she is having the surgery

now; " She needed it. " or something to that effect was the quote I

got. I guess he saw something in there that told him better sooner

than later...

Her room at Mt Sinai Hospital will be on 10 East #314, bed B when she

comes out of recovery. did not know her phone number yet.

So n is on the " Other Side " with the rest of you post-ops, but

she is not out of the woods yet. Please say a prayer or light a

candle for her tonight in the hopes that she comes out of her

anesthesia OK and makes a speedy recovery!

We'll be switching chickens for her! Other than the amount of time it

took for anesthesia did they say if there was any complications ?

Hi Anita,

The quote I got later last night after she came out of anesthesia was

that it was a " textbook surgery " . So it sounds as though everything

went very well. I will try calling over there later this afternoon

to see if she is up to talking at all. I will report on her progress.

Everyone's prayers are being heard and answered. The positive

thoughts are doing the trick! Thank you for such wonderful support!
