Guest guest
Hi Guys, Just a quick question to anyone out there, a couple of weeks ago at my hospital visit (Eye hospital), I mentioned to my Doc that I have periods of time where I am in a trance, this has happened for years but has starting increasing recently and only just thought of telling him. He told me that these are probably seizures and called them absenses, he is going to contact my Neuro team to see what they would like to do about it. As I have 2 conditions Neurosarcoisosis and Arnold Chiari, I'm not sure which one if any this is related to. Has anyone else had this? Thanks in advance! Guest guest
Arnold Chiari Lets try this again. I suspect it's more from the NS-- I know that AC (compression of the brain against the vertebrae of the neck- from what little I've read) can cause extreme back and neck pain. Did you read the article on Epilepsy and sarcoidosis? I really gleaned alot of info from that site-- and it makes so much sense. I find that I have the "space cadet" episodes reguarlly, but it also seems to be that I find that I've been "holding" my breath-- so that when I do come back, it's generally with a really deep sighful breath. I does leave me feeling like the 'space cadet' (as my guys call it). It's like having a 'void' in whatever was going on around me-- I am aware of what is happening, but can't react. Weird stuff. Guest guest
I'm trying this in a new browser so I hope there aren't those weird spaces. Here goes. I've been having those spaceouts recently as well. My husband laughs because I just seem to be staring into space. I recently have developed some troublesome pain in my neck. The family doctor seemed to think it might be from sleeping in a funny position. My position has changed and I'm not sure why. Related? Headaches too. I thought it was from the neck pain. - > > In a message dated 9/28/06 8:34:07 PM Pacific Daylight Time, > becky.d@... writes: > > > > Arnold Chiari > > Lets try this again.
