Guest guest
Becky, Except for short period when I first started the Remicade (June-August) my eyes have been in flare mode for the last 15 months. My eye doc introduced me to the surgical staff that I'm am a patient who is a friend now ..not just a patient. I have seen him every 2-3 weeks for so long and I guess I will for a while too. Remicade calmed it down enought to have cataract surgery and I am so thankful for that! I have been on the Pred eye drops for all that time in different doses, but this last flare happened when I was on 6 times a day already so I was interested in the nsaid eye drops and am going to ask my doc about it as it's not something I have tried before. It seem to just be a bad time for everyone I think. I'll ship the cooler weather to you ASAP and I'll be expecting some warmer weather from your direction soon Hope things are better for you soon....As always you are all in my prayers TTFN Ruth > Hello to all...> My Remicade infusion has been moved up from eight weeks to six because my right eye is in a terrible flair. It was either move up the Remicade or do another injection so I was very relieved that The eye doc was able to convince the Rheumy Doc to move the date up. SO very thankful that my eyes remained calm long enough to have the cataract surgeries. I've been having a lot of bone pain but thought it was just the wet cold weather we have been having. Also having neck pain, headaches and lower back pain. I noticed the neck pain when I started a class this fall and I'd have a headache after I sat through 3 hours of class. I also start back on water therapy again on Monday and can't wait for that. I had to stop it when I couldn't see to drive. Hard to find someone to drive you when you live way out in the country. I don't want to give up my family home before I have to move to town. I'd been doing so well on the Remicade so I hope I can get back in control> again. As much as I once loved winter I now hate the thought of cold Indiana winter days again > Hope everyone is having a good weekend...none of my pain meds are working so I'm vegging trying to find a position that causes the least amount of pain and catch up on posts. > TTFN> Ruth> > > > > > > ---------------------------------> Get your own web address for just $1.99/1st yr.
