Guest guest
, Have you used ice packs this weekend to get the inflammation out of your back and spine? That, along with your anti-inflammatories and pain meds should help. Ice takes out inflammation, and as it warms back up- the increased circulation allows more oxygen in the area- so you 'heal' better. Heat relieves the muscle spasm-- but can bring increased inflammation. Thinking of you, Tracie
Guest guest
you know I think I went brain dead, this I know about the ice, heck I was a ER nurse.. but I totally didn't do it.. I just laid around. I'm mostly sore, now not really in pain unless I stand too long or try to walk a little farther than I should, which neither one happened.. I stayed pretty much vertical most of the weekend. Even had the 16 year old picking up his dirty laundry.. LOL! Yep it's time he does his laundry, and yours. As for the ice-- and brain dead-- I totally understand. That is why we have each other and the group-- if one of us has a brain fart-- the rest of us can help us get our ducks back in line. (Watch out for duck hunters tho.) Love ya, me
