Maltodextrin, Natural Flavors are not legal/ Aspartame -- I avoid because it makes me crave starch. Ace-K, I avoid. Ascorbic Acid is Vitamin C. Yellow dye is yellow dye. Depending on the person, they may be sensitive. I wouldn't use that mixture! — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund

SCD Margaritas (Mock Cadillac Margarita on the Rocks) Serves 2 (large) Squeeze juice from the following into a container: 2 Persian (regular, not key) limes 1 lemon 1/4 orange In a separate container, mix 1/4 c. honey and 1/4 c. water to make a simple syrup, stirring until the honey completely dissolves. (Misty's note - works best with warm water.) Add the honey syrup to the citrus juices. Salt the rim of the glass (if you want salt), add ice, add 2-3 oz. tequila, and your SCD-legal sweet and sour mix. Stir. Squeeze a slice of lime into the drink and enjoy! — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund

Guest guest
It was a sugar free margarita mix! Oh, brother, what lengths they go to so they can claim " sugar free " . I've seen others that were worse, though, that had half a dozen kinds of sugar, but I guess if it's not sucrose they can technically claim it's sugar-free. J And I do apologize to you, Kathy, for mis-attributing it! I was hastily searching this morning, and must have come across one of Misty's posts in which she mentioned your recipe... and being in a hurry, didn't read closely enough. Mea culpa.
