Guest guest
There aren't any doctors in my area who treat this condition so I am looking for one familiar with these disorders. I would like to stay as close to home (Buffalo) as possible so a doctor in Ohio, New York, etc. would be helpful. I've done some research and have come up with a few names but not sure where to go. Has anyone seen Dr. Chelimsky? Please let me know your recommendations.
Guest guest
Have you tried to look for a doctor using the web site DYNA? It's the Dysautonomia Youth Network of America, or something very similar. I know that Dr. Grubb, in Toledo, Ohio, is considered very, very good with dysautonomia, and the lady that runs the site will be very patient, and let you know where other very good dysautonomic docs are located. looking for doctor to treat dysautonomia There aren't any doctors in my area who treat this condition so I am looking for one familiar with these disorders. Our son has dysautonomia. There are not a whole lot of things that are reallydone for it. We had a meeting with a dysautonomia expert. We have friends whose children have it too. The standard treatments seem like they would be pretty easy for most docs to do. Ous son is 15. He is supposed to drink 2-4L of fluid a day. He is to get up from the seated position slowly. Other docs also give scripts for beta blockers and antidepressants for dysautonomia.
