Guest guest
MRSA is all over the place. When I was working at the hospital there would be at least 2-3 known MRSA pts at any given time just on our units (48 beds). Sorry to hear you're having a rough time...hang in there ...you'll be in my thoughts and prayers, Beckyanci3ntgoddess@... wrote: Had To Be Treated For Mrsa Again The Infection Is Back Im On 3 Antibiodics Some Nose Spray And Bath With Hibeclenz I Might Have To Stop Imuran Untill Were Sure Its Gome This Time Blessing N Luv To All In Pa Get your email and more, right on the new Yahoo.com
Guest guest
, This is got to be frustrating. It is important that you get this under control, and if that means going off the Imuran for a short while-- then by all means do so if your MD advises this. Sometimes with immunosupressants, we will all need to give our bodies a time out-- and let our immune system rebalance a bit. The down side is that if we go without the immunosupressant, the rebound inflammation is hard. If anyone has found ways to deal with this-- share. For me, it has been the MSM powder and watching my diet for sugars and hydration. I also use guided imagery CD's-- that walk you into a deep state of relaxation. Guest guest
Tracie, what is MSM powder? You mention that the " rebound inflammation is hard. " For me rebound would be terrible. My last attack involved my 8th nerve, the one that controls balance. WIthout it working I had TERRIBLE vertigo and vomiting. Couldn't even lef my head off the pillow or stop wretching until given massive steroids. I was like this for months. Lost 20 pounds in just over 2 weeks. The attack before that paralyzed the right side of my throat and vocal cords. I couldn't eat solids or speak for 6 months. That kind of rebound is impossible. My docs have mentioned that I might have to endure rebounds in an effort to get off steroids if nothing else works. How can anyone live like that? If there is anything you know that can help with rebound, please share it with me. Thanks. And thank you for all the help you are on this site. We all know you are not well these days. It is even more meaningful that you find the time and energy to share your knowledge with us. - > > , > > This is got to be frustrating.
