Guest guest
I'm thinking about making a legal " tsimmis " made with carrots, honey, onions and such. If I wanted to add some dried fruit for flavor, how do I pick legal ones? Thanks, PJ

If I wanted to add some dried fruit for flavor, how do I pick legal ones? What fruit do you want to use? What stores do you have near you? TJs has legal dried apricots - they're brown and unsulphered, rather than orange. Costco (at least in my region) has legal medjool dates from Israel; TJs has legal ones, too - not sure of the origin. Guest guest
Probably raisins and apricots. I'm not near a TJ's or WF, but I do have a small health food store near me. Any tips for checking the labels? PJ > > > I'm thinking about making a legal " tsimmis " made with carrots, honey, onions and such.
