Tropicana Grapefruit Juice was never approved by Elaine. THe standing

rules are to get a letter, on the company's stationary (emails won't do,

neither will phone calls) ascertaining that there are no added sugars or

starches.

Fruit juices are hard to handle in this respect -- for instance, one

company was ultra-sweetening their apple juice by distilling out the

sugar from other apple juices and adding it to the blended apples -- and

they could legitimately say " 100% apples.... "
